Download the OS1.0.6.0.UMXEUXM Fastboot ROM or Recovery ROM for Redmi 12 (fire). Recovery ROM installs from the Updater app. Fastboot ROM flashes with Mi Flash Tool.

- Open the Updater app on your Redmi 12.
- Tap the three dots and select Choose update package.
- Select the downloaded ROM. The phone reboots into the new version when it finishes.
Fastboot ROM
- Download the Fastboot ROM package (fire_eea_global_images_OS1.0.6.0.UMXEUXM_20240412.0000.00_14.0_eea_0003bc0ff1.tgz).
- Boot the phone into Fastboot and connect it to a computer.
- Flash the package with Mi Flash Tool. Fastboot flashing erases data.
