Download the V14.0.6.0.SMSCNXM Fastboot ROM or Recovery ROM for POCO X5 Pro 5G (redwood). Recovery ROM installs from the Updater app. Fastboot ROM flashes with Mi Flash Tool.

- Tap the three dots and select Choose update package.
- Select the downloaded ROM. The phone reboots into the new version when it finishes.

- Download the Fastboot ROM package (redwood_images_V14.0.6.0.SMSCNXM_20230227.0000.00_12.0_cn_70b2252bc2.tgz).
- Boot the phone into Fastboot and connect it to a computer.
- Flash the package with Mi Flash Tool. Fastboot flashing erases data.
