Download the OS1.0.8.0.UMQEUXM Fastboot ROM or Recovery ROM for Redmi Note 12R Pro (sunstone). Recovery ROM installs from the Updater app. Fastboot ROM flashes with Mi Flash Tool.

- Open the Updater app on your Redmi Note 12R Pro.
- Tap the three dots and select Choose update package.
- Select the downloaded ROM. The phone reboots into the new version when it finishes.
Fastboot ROM
- Download the Fastboot ROM package (sunstone_eea_global_images_OS1.0.8.0.UMQEUXM_20240722.0000.00_14.0_eea_b5ceaf2773.tgz).
- Boot the phone into Fastboot and connect it to a computer.
- Flash the package with Mi Flash Tool. Fastboot flashing erases data.
